The Dept. of Defense is so desperate to bring war machines and arms into local municipalities that even coroners are now being militarized.
Doug Wortham, a coroner from Sharp County, Arkansas, just received an assault rifle, a handgun and a Humvee through the Defense Department’s 1033 program, even though he works all day with people who are already dead.
What does a coroner need with such equipment? Well, he doesn’t. It’s not about protecting coroners from a sudden outbreak of ‘the undead’.

Obama trying to militarize another group?
So this is why we need more gun control!!!! Dead people be shooting up the people whp clean up the mess!!! (sarcasm)
Many jurisdictions donor allow a body to be removed until their coroner has pronounced on site or scene. Imagine the death in a dangerous neighborhood. That is one possible answer to the question of need.
To check out a body in a body of water or river perhaps.
*sound of gunshots* Yep, he’s dead……..
Something is not right with this c**p!!!
they’re always pulling bodies out of the water in lakes, ponds, and canals. There’s a reasonable explanation. I’d say Jonboat, not kayak. Although it is light, portable and a fast way to tie a rope to a stiff.
This is about to get ugly. Hope you’re ready.
Kirk Anderson that makes sense but just figured a kayak would tip over with a body on it
Hahaha.. I live a county over.. Hell ive lived in washington county. And yes its full of stupid. But nothing that requires millitary assistance. Bunch of dumb drunks and meth heads. Glad i moved, but it wasnt all that bad.
