Is the Trump administration conducting test runs of what will soon be a nationwide effort to quell the violence carried out by Antifa and Black Lives Matter? Reports of federal agents grabbing people off the street and throwing them into black vans are making the rounds.
One protester, 29-year-old Mark Pettibone, described being grabbed by several men in green military fatigues and generic “police” patches on their clothing in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Pettibone said he did not know whether the men were police or far-right extremists, who frequently don militarylike outfits and harass left-leaning protesters in Portland.
“I was terrified,” Pettibone said in an interview. “It seemed like it was out of a horror/sci-fi, like a Philip K. Dick novel. It was like being preyed upon.”
Pettibone was taken to the city’s federal courthouse and placed in a holding cell. Two agents eventually read him his Miranda rights and asked if he would waive those rights to answer questions. He declined and the agents let him go. The federal agents who detained him did not tell him why he was being held or provide any record of an arrest, he said.
The federal law enforcement response in Portland has prompted a debate among current and former law enforcement officials about whether DHS and Justice Department law enforcement agencies are being misused by the Trump administration.
“The idea that they are leaving the perimeter of that federal property and going out in the streets of Portland gives me a lot of personal angst about their concept of policing in general,” said David Gomez, a former FBI official. “Policing is essentially a contract with the community. That’s why a lot of these communities are erupting, because they feel the police have effectively violated the contract. When you have the federal government coming in there, acting as state police, you’re effectively pushing the community away.”
Speaker Nancy Pelosi took to Twitter on Friday to push the theory that Trump has deployed unidentified stormtroopers to kidnap and assault protesters and rioters in Portland – which is disputed by journalist Andy Ngo, who has been steadily reporting on the events in Portland since the turmoil began weeks ago.
The claim that Trump's secret police are "abducting" people is a lie. It's an #antifa falsehood to distract from the fact that DHS has been extremely effective at arresting criminal suspects.

Go Trump, arrest the basterds
YAY!!!!!!!
In a country that has a 100% Corrupt NWO-Cabal-Controlled Inverted-Totalitarian Police-State Government the people should be engaged in a war against the government to eradicate it. That can be done by as few as3-5% of yhe population utilizing guerilla warfare tactics. Encounter police, military personnel when you have the advantage; when they least expect it; when your numbers are superior at time and place; find out where they live; kill them coming home from work; kill them mowing the lawn; snipe them from a distance.
They deserved everything they got. They are a bunch of punks that have been terrorizing the country. vandalizing and injuring people and then they want to whine when they are dealt with in a manner thats less than what they deserve and should be charged with treason as far as I am concerned hang them like they did in the old days they’re anti-American as far as I’m concerned that’s treason. They denounce the American government the American flag the American way everything about America they are totally anti-American hang them or send them to some communist country and see how they like it.
