Conservatives and Trump supporters have frequently doubted whether nominal Republicans such as John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Paul Ryan are really on their side. And for good reason. While not alone in this regard, they cannot be considered dependable allies in the battle against leftist ideas and policies. In fact, one could be excused for wondering if they are even members of the correct party.
So when we learn that Mr. Ryan has stated that he cannot support Mr. Trump, this comes not as a surprise, but as confirmation of what was already strongly suspected. More on page two.
