The Texas rancher was living his worst nightmare. He was embroiled in an income tax case with the federal government that was intent on foreclosing on his ranch, taking everything and leaving nothing due to unpaid liens.
The rancher’s effort to fight back turned the incident into a landmark case. On September 14, 2015, he filed a petition in United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Lufkin Division Case No. 9:14-CV-138 that challenged the Constitutional authority of the feds to usurp the authority of the courts in Tyler County, Texas.
The United States had 14 days to respond, but remained silent, apparently the first and only time that the government failed to respond to a jurisdiction challenge.
The rancher was not dissuaded. On September 30, 2015, he filed a Demand for Dismissal. Again, there was no response. How can the worst nightmare become even worse? The rancher will likely answer that when the Federal Court in conjunction with the IRS is trying to illegally seize your property while ignoring your legal rights, this is about as bad as your nightmare can be.
All within the rights of the rancher, his petition claimed that the Federal Court lacked the territorial and personal jurisdiction in Tyler Country, Texas, and demanded a dismissal of the case. The text of the petition indicated that the law was on his side.

This being the case it falls to the people to execute the sentence for treason themselves.

A simple copy and paste might save someone’s life….
I did it, will you?
I just wanted to add that 22 Vets a day commit suicide, thats 8030 a year, and roughly 122,000 since the wars began. Thats a fact. We have to do a better job at preventing those deaths.
Feds have been enforcing unconstitutional tax laws for decades. They don’t even know what their own tax laws are. many tax laws conflict. Most times it becomes to expensive to fight and a settlement is reached even though the tax wasn’t owed.
we need trey gowdy.and ginsberg needs to go away.
So wrong
Our government of GET needs to be put into its proper place. It has become a BIG BULLY.
Unfortunately any amendment passed by such a convention would fail because all the proposed legislation is conservative in nature and progs and liberals own enough states still to block any attempt. We need to facts, half the country wants economic security guaranteed by the government and one-half doesn’t and it is not clear at all which side will come out on top. The problem isn’t the politicians so much as it is us, as a people, are failing to agree.
Patrick Turner I know this is a little off point here but “The Supreme Court” also uses “The Bill of Rights” in their interpretation of it in to broad of a way to give certain rights and/or take them away. The issues with burning of the United States flag and/or standing on it for instance. It used to be treason to desecrate the flag in any way but the issue got tucked under The 1st Amendment as “freedom of speach” and now people do whatever they want to our nations flag. If you hate it here so much move to Iran. Another thing being they would have found a way to let Hillary trample the 2nd Amendment and take away our right to bear arms just after we begin as a nation to curb gun violence with the conceal and carry laws. They tried the same thing in Australia and an Australian sherrif spoke out on Facebook urging America not to take the same path. The post showed the hundreds of thousands of the Aussie citizens guns ordered to be turned over being loaded into dumptrucks to be hauled away and melted down. He said the result was a 75% INCREASE in gun violence! Why? Because law abiding citizens turned over their guns where the criminals did not and they now had the knowledge that the citizens were no longer armed to defend themselves. He also said the Aussie government didn’t want this statistic known because they didn’t want the world to know they had made such a blunder. But he felt obligated to warn any country going down the same road. We were tought in school our government was built with the three branches as a system of checks and balances. Congress, The President, And The Supreme Court. Each to have the ability to keep the others in check so we didn’t end up a dictatorship. Who is keeping The Supreme Court in check? I believe all three branches need to discuss and agree upon what the Amendments of the Constitution (One of the most important documents written when our nation was born) mean and should be interpreted henceforth. In particular focusing on the first ten amendments “The Bill of Rights”. Certainly our forefathers didn’t intend the 1st Amendment to allow citizens to commit treason.
