Korean war veteran Robert Willits and his wife Judy are battling their homeowners association who insist that they remove the American and MIA flag flying in their yard.
The couple moved to the Fieldstone neighborhood in Greenfield, IN at the end of last year and installed the flagpole over the summer.
Now their HOA demands that they remove the flags or pay $500 fine for legal fees.

What the hell, happened in this country,we all turned into a bunch of marshmellows, can’t fly our own flag?we should be totally ashamed.
Obama, turned this country into c**p.
This is the United States of America. If these flags offend you get your sorry ass out of this country.
These flags should remain standing. And we the people should support all who fly the FLAGS!
Defend this patriot lets come together and show the communist we are united in protecting our flag and freedom!!!
flying Old Glory should be protected free speech
Screw the hoa!
Every American should be able to fly our flag anywhere at all as long as it does not obstruct anything. It is beautiful and can only improve the surroundings. HOA rules should not be permitted to include forbidding our flag in their bylaws.
tell em’ to pack sand.
The HOA is in violation of 2 federal statutes, Title 18, Section 241; Conspiracy against Rights and 242; Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law. Mr. Willits needs to find out how many members of the HOA there are, their names, and addresses. As soon as he gets this information,he needs to go to federal court and file charges against each member of the HOA for violating these statutes. When each member of the HOA finds out that they will have to pay a combined fine of $350,000.00 fine or a combined prison term of 11 yrs or both, they will drop their demands in a heartbeat. This is what everyone needs to do when they are faced with the same situation whether its an HOA or City Council. They need to fight back using these statutes as their weapons against tyranny. All of you people that own flower shops or bakeries or wedding venues that don’t believe in same sex marriages but are being forced by them and /or a civil rights group to provide your services for their weddings, can use these same statutes against them and one more, Title 18, Section 247; Damage to Religious Property; Obstruction of Persons in their Free Exercise of Religious Beliefs. If you file charges for all three statutes, they will have to pay a combined fine of $450,000.00 and face up to 12 yrs imprisonment.. You can pull these statutes up on Google and print them for your use. Look up Title 18, Section 3559; Sentence of Classification of Offenses and Section 3571, Sentence of Fines. These will show you how much fines and prison time they will be facing. Section 241 is a Class C felony with a $250,000.00 fine and no more than 10 yrs. imprisonment and Sections 242 and 247 are both Class A misdemeanors with a fine of $100,000.00 and no more than 1 yr. imprisonment. Do yourself a favor and look these up. Ask your attorney why he hasn’t looked these up to use in your defense.
