The state of Kentucky is not backing off their decision to fire volunteer pastor counselors from its youth activities programs who call homosexuality ‘sinful’.
Spokeswoman for the Department of Juvenile Justice, Stacy Floden stated that the agency “seeks to protect the rights of all youth in its care and custody regardless of sexual orientation or committing offense.”
“To this end, the department prohibits its staff and volunteers from discriminating against youth based on sexual orientation or gender identity,” Floden stated.

Why the bible said that they are right
You can not ban a 1st amendment right.
I have family there, didn’t think this was true.
What happend to freedom from religion? You don’t have a right to use your religion against others just because it’s your belief. Religion should be kept in your homes.
They’re heavy duty Christians, and Kentuckians are known for saying just what they mean. That’s one reason I love them.
Shame on you Kentucky!
Kentucky can ban pastors all they want from speaking God’s Word, doesn’t make it null and void. $#%&!@*sexuality is an abomination unto God.
I sure hope this isn’t true
Now these idiots are banning God
I remember back in the early 80’s i went to a revival and accepted Jesus in my heart and life. I know that Jesus is real. I have not always made the right choices since then, but i am ever so glad that He remained faithful even when i was not. Anyway, the 80’s relatively, wasn’t that long ago. And i for one, feel like back then it was easier to talk about God openly, and, well, things were different. Music both secular (non ministry) and spiritual music seemed to have more weight to it. All i can say to anyone, is to get into the word until the word gets into you. There’s a brewing in the air that’s hard to describe. Almost like you can feel something is going to happen. Whatever does, the only thing that has any everlasting meaning is Jesus and the family of God’s people. Many will not make it. I wish everyone could. But that’s a fact that isn’t very popular or nice to hear. None of us will make it if we choose to walk the way of the world. Eternity in the house of God is where we should all want to be…
