Kansas has recently flexed it’s patriotic muscles by passing a law that nullifies city and county gun restrictions and ensures that it’s legal to openly carry firearms across the state.
The House and Senate have approved the bill by wide margins so it’s off to Rep. Gov. Sam Brownback’s desk, who is a strong supporter or gun rights and is expected to sign it.
“We don’t want the feds imposing their will on us. We shouldn’t be doing that to the local jurisdictions,” said Rep. Carolyn Bridges, a Wichita Democrat.
Last year Kansas enacted a law that allows people with concealed-carry permits to bring their concealed weapons into public buildings, such as libraries and community centers.
Thanks for showing us how it’s done Kansas….who’s next?

BRAVO, KANSAS!
Wish more states would do that.
Governor still has to sign it….but he’s always been a 2nd Amendment supporter….once he signs it, it will be Law. KS is an Open Carry State to begin with. It’s just that cities and townships have been able to squelch it.
Right on go for it I dare Pa to over ride the law. Let all of us show are guns. Then the bad guy’s would think twice about holding thing up
Great news!
Good for Kansas!
Alright Kansas
every state should do this. Kansas is setting the standard.
May have to move there.
Good, I hope more states follow.
