Kansas has recently flexed it’s patriotic muscles by passing a law that nullifies city and county gun restrictions and ensures that it’s legal to openly carry firearms across the state.
The House and Senate have approved the bill by wide margins so it’s off to Rep. Gov. Sam Brownback’s desk, who is a strong supporter or gun rights and is expected to sign it.
“We don’t want the feds imposing their will on us. We shouldn’t be doing that to the local jurisdictions,” said Rep. Carolyn Bridges, a Wichita Democrat.
Last year Kansas enacted a law that allows people with concealed-carry permits to bring their concealed weapons into public buildings, such as libraries and community centers.
Thanks for showing us how it’s done Kansas….who’s next?

am in complete agreement. because a person is carrying concealed it should NOT mean there is something nefarious is going on. However, I do believe open is the best of both worlds. So, a person should do what the situation dictates. I won’t want to go into a restaurant with a model 1911 on my hip.
AS THEY SHOULD, now start with common core and get rid ot that
There may be incidents, there always are but the murder rate as a whole will drop like it has in Chicago.
Way to go Kansas. Missouri just did something like this. I hope the rest of the country follows. I CVARRY.
