Sadly, future episodes of Law & Order will probably hinge on such gripping cases as this. After, it is “ripped from today’s headlines.” The case of the aunt who sued her young nephew over a reckless birthday hug, may have hinged her testimony about a plate of hors d’oeuvres.
Jennifer Connell, claims her 8-year-old relative was negligent when he jumped in her arms, knocked her down and broke her wrist.
Of course she did not mention anything at the time. She testified intense injury made it hard for her to hold a plate of hors d’oeuvres.

what a great aunt she is
God bless the judge
Luckily for the 8 year old, more liberals weren’t on the jury
Why did she try to sue the insurance company….Did she have her own health insurance? Do you know this person personally?
I have medical insurance, and if I broke my wrist anywhere, it would have been covered….. All you have to do is call to get an approval number….
Again your telling me what you read and that’s just what I did…..
Anyone suing an insurance company usual submits medical bills, she is looking for a pay day……
When the boy jumped on her to say hi and she fell, the aunt stayed at the party instead of seeking medical attention…. It could not have been that broken……anybody who breaks a bone would be in a lot of pain….
And that makes it ok?
G O O D ,G O O D ,G O O D !!!!
Good
Cold -hearted, sick, twisted individual.
125k for a broken wrist? She’s a gold digger, and I hope if the boy received life insurance from his deceased mom, it is protected from his ‘loving’ auntie
I agree!
