Kerry begins this speech by stating that someone named ‘Shriek’ had drafted a strategy for American and Muslim relations. Who this Shriek is exactly is unknown, but apparently his words ‘religion matters’ is ‘a mantra in the State Dept’.
Kerry continues stating that ‘our faiths’ referring to Christianity and Islam are ‘inextricably linked’.
Kerry’s words are bizarre, to say the least. It’s basically a half-baked attempt to forge an affinity for Islam, and is a statement that the U.S. is now acquiescing to the Muslim Brotherhood, who has successfully infiltrated the United States to a great degree.

Von Rae Wood You are right – Kerry did not mention ISIS, it is inferred within the policy. I thought that I had put quotes around what he said everything else was my words as I interpreted the intent of The U.S. Policy indicate the the U.S wants to work with “religious leaders and faith communities” …to protect “human rights, and conflicts …. ” to aid in the “restrictions on… activities in many countries, religious leaders and other civil society actors are deeply engaged in creating more peaceful, stable and secure communities…” The U.S has and wants to continue to work with these leaders on issues of, “… human rights, including the protection of religious freedom.” “… promoting core U.S. values like respect for the human rights of members of minority and marginalized groups, pluralism, tolerance, and sensitivity to and respect for the beliefs and traditions of others.” “… mitigate, and resolve violent conflict and contribute to local and regional stability and security…. to break cycles of violent conflict and mitigate crises,” To me this mean the current conflict with ISIS and terrorism committed by Muslim radicals, let alone those radical of the past. The undertone of this policy is to work together with other leaders, to stop the violence whereby aiding other countries and the U.S. In finding peace, perverting the lose of more lives.
As to climate change as Kerry mentioned, I DO believe the issue needs to be addressed, the damage by humans from dumping trash on our roads to dumping trash in our water, burning or burying contaminates in the soil and dumping in our water ways, and adding to our landfills, things that do NOT belong – old paints, pesticides and herbicides, light bulbs, cellphones, batteries, Mercury switches, computer monitors, plasma TVs and much more, shows disregard for OUR planet. It adds to environmental damages, leads too Global and Climate Changes. The policy wants to address the issues formed due to violence, an STOP it. (This isn’t part of the policies word but mine.) I believe that with the aid of religious leaders maybe we can pull everyone together and STOP the violence, prevent a war.
Religion has always been part of world violence, violence found in all forms of religious bigotry – to hate and incite hate, threaten, destroy property, to loot, beat, torture, arrest, and imprison, and execute others, often in the name of religion. (It seems that each religion thinks they are the one and only religion that is right, that they are the only ones that can get into heaven, it that it is their right to kill others who are not part of their religion. Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer wrote, “Judaism, Christianity and Islam will continue to contribute to the destruction of the world until and unless each challenges violence in “sacred texts,” and until each affirms the nonviolent power of God.” I feel much thee same as Mr. Nelson-Palmer.
My hope is that others will follow the teachings of Christ, or its intent at the very least, Christians and non- Christians. Jesus’ life, his teachings and even in his death were lessons of forgiveness, in the end he asked that his Father to “forgive them they know not what they do”. . Many verses in the Old Testament are used to validate the use of violence toward others and some speak of love, peace and forgiveness but is seems these are often ignored. Jesus and his apostles instructed man to love all, to live in peace, and to forgive as instructed by God. Jesus NOT only taught these lessons, but he lived and practice what he taught. He forgive those that tortured and crucified him, just as God instructed him.
I will attempt to find the report form NASA and take a run though it. I am sorry it took so long to reply to your post, I am vision (double vision up to 20 in) impaired and I use a text-reader it takes a long time to compose my words as I intended and to check for typos. I use a word program for long texts because I tend to hit return before intending too, and I need to be able to use the text-reader to make sure there are few typos and it reads as I intend it too, doesn’t always work but it helps. I tried to post the reply, it was too long, so I had to slim it down, which took more time. I had to use text-reader to each paragraph separately to be able pick out what to send.
