The coup attempt of 2016 (which actually began in the early goings of 2014) has shaken the American people to their very core. Never before has the full scope of such a blatant and illegal attempt at overthrow of the United States federal government been detailed in such stark and truly terrifying terms.
In the former years of the FBI and CIA, among other intelligence services, officers and directors in these organizations ran roughshod over the rights of Americans through cloak and dagger operations that always seemed to focus on the undermining of the US Constitution and the parameters of federal law. No one seemed safe from their daily incursions. There have been many documented cases of these types of operations as they were exposed decades after their initiation. Many are the American citizens who have fallen prey to the overreaching arm of federal intelligence-gathering agencies, as well as other more mundane-seeming divisions of the government.
Two of the most recent examples include the Obama administration blocking groups from forming through legal tax-exempt laws when the Internal Revenue Service under the direction of Lois Lerner was specifically targeting politically conservative enclaves, and also when the Bureau of Land Management was harassing Cliven Bundy and his family for their generationally-utilized grazing rights in Nevada, culminating in a very corrupt arm of the federal government lying on forms that reported fines in excess of $1M in order to drum up public opinion against the professional herder. Despite both of these situations occurring under the Obama administration, they were basically swept under the rug with the officers in charge of these operations placed into quick and quiet retirement from the government and the Congress unable to properly assess the actual real-life damage committed against American citizens.
The situation that arose immediately following the election of Donald J. Trump in 2016, however, was vastly different in many ways. The sheer goliath-like presence of how many persons, corporations and government entities (domestic and foreign alike) involved in this massive coup attempt is staggering. Many books have been written over the past few years (all rocketing to New York Times Bestseller status) that have detailed all the many ways that high-profile individuals have been involved in this overthrow of our Electoral system and the story that continues to unfold in horrifying excerpt after horrifying excerpt demonstrates how far nefarious arms of the US intelligence agencies (coupled with severely unscrupulous politicians and their enablers in the press) will go in order to steal and/or overturn a legal Constitutionally-enforced presidential election.
The usual suspects’ list is mind-boggling, from the highest levels of the Obama administration on down to clandestine foreign agencies in many other European nations. Places as far away as Australia and China are involved and it is a shameful and humiliating fact that our own elected and un-elected officials have been party to this attempt at usurping a president simply because he was not going to play along with the Establishmentariat. Trump’s message of Drain the Swamp was enough to send shockwaves through the highest offices of the Washington DC elite players and they were not about to allow him the opportunity to upset the millionaires club inside the Beltway.
Enter Attorney General William Barr and Connecticut US Attorney John Henry Durham, two men laser-focused on getting to the bottom of this sordid tale of deceit, spying and the stealing of the highest seat of authority in the Free World.

After months of investigating, U.S. Attorney John Durham has broadened his team to include additional agents and resources as the timeline they are examining has extended, according to Fox News.
The investigation of the investigators, led by Attorney General William Barr and Durham as his right-hand man, had targeted the beginning of the Trump-Russia counterintelligence investigation to the 2016 election. It has been elongated to include at least the spring of 2017, when former FBI Director Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel after former FBI Director James Comey was fired by Trump and leaked the contents of some of his memos to the media.
Durham’s team has been focusing so far on the FBI’s reliance on informants, some of whom, such as Cambridge professor Stefan Halper, made contact with members of the Trump campaign. Durham may also be looking into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses.
The 412 pages of redacted FISA documents released in 2018 show that the DOJ and the FBI made extensive use of an unverified dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele, which made a series of allegations regarding Trump and Russia. Steele put his research together in 2016 at the behest of Fusion GPS, which had been hired by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee through the Perkins Coie law firm. The funding Steele received from a Democratic presidential campaign was not revealed to the FISA Court.
DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec said earlier this month that the DOJ was exploring whether any foreign intelligence services played a role in the counterintelligence investigation directed against Trump’s campaign.
“Mr. Durham is gathering information from numerous sources, including a number of foreign countries,” Kupec said. “At Attorney General Barr’s request, the president has contacted other countries to ask them to introduce the attorney general and Mr. Durham to appropriate officials.”
John Durham, the modern-day Elliott Ness or Wyatt Earp of the law enforcement and investigation world has a long history of bumping heads with the most powerful and the most corrupt officials in many of the land’s highest offices and has never backed down from the challenge. His tightening of the noose around the throats of those involved in this coup attempt has unnerved an entire array of government officials and those who have quietly exited the stage of world politics in the hopes of avoiding the gaze under the microscope of Durham. If Sherlock Holmes had a mentor, it would be John Henry Durham.
With the Barr/Durham/Horowitz team of investigators working in tandem with the Jim Jordans, John Solomons, Sarah Carters, Tom Fittons, Rudy Giulianis, Jay Sekulows, and dozens of others hard at work protecting Americans from a colossal crime on a scale never before seen in this country, is it any wonder that the Democrats have feebly tossed this Hail-Mary pass as a final effort to derail the investigation into the investigators?
When the dust finally settles, instead of a president behind bars, there may well be a very crowded cell somewhere in the swampy woods of Missouri bearing the moniker, “Those who thought they were above the law, let them see the Light.”
