Jeremiah Wright hates Jews and therefore must make Jesus a Palestinian so the two can still get along. If Jesus is a Jew, it makes it tough for Wright to preach Jesus and hate His countrymen, so he relabels and rails against Israel in support of Palestine.
Wright stated, “Please remember, Jesus was a Palestinian, the Palestinian people have had the Europeans come and take their country, ignoring United Nations resolutions, after resolution, after resolution, over 40 resolutions, and illegally occupied territories, as they take the people who’s [country] it is, and make it their’s because their God told them that they could have somebody else’s country.”
What a leap into the world of fiction. Wright is obviously rewriting history. Even non-biblical historians, like Josephus, factually documented the events of the first century Roman Empire, including Jesus Christ, born in Bethlehem of Judea.
Wright calling Jesus a Palestinian is probably offensive to many Muslim Palestinians. Although their own Koran calls Him a prophet, it also says that Jesus is Jewish. But Wright will use whatever inflammatory message it takes to gain access to the spotlight and Palestine is now his podium.
Apartheid is going on in Palestine as we sit here. There’s an apartheid wall being built, twice the size of the Berlin Wall in height, keeping Palestinians off of illegally occupied territories, where the Europeans have claimed that land as their own.”
