Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”
See video next page:
Oh well ok then, as long as the symmetry is preserved. What is wrong with you people. Have you no backbone whatsoever. You are a pitiful example of American heritage. Our history is history. These men died building this nation. What have you little twits done except scream racist at anything that upsets your misguided feelings.
Remove all signs of Martin Luther King and anything that has to do with slavery. ThT didn’t happen either ! That’s how ludicrous this c**p has become ! Good or bad; History is still History ! You can’t pick and choose what you want History to be ! It is what it is , All or none !!
Well said David.
Who is allowing this???
This is what’s wrong with our education system. No history taught, no common sense involved.
Let’s overlook the fact that Jefferson Davis never owned any slaves.
Shameful
Amen !!!!
Oh my god, how ridiculous . So does this mean the pictures of these men on the money printed in the US is not worth anything now
Austin is truly weird and proud of it. Gregg Abbott is best thing that ever happened in weird.
The worst is happening on our college campuses where they indoctrinate empty soul students
