In the past, Donald Trump was criticized for his strange enthusiasm for torturing and executing other human beings. Christie attacked for his outlandish views on American privacy, and other candidates dismissed for their radical statist beliefs.
The only clear supporter of liberty seemed to be Rand Paul, but recent statements by Jeb Bush shows he might be a more libertarian candidate, at least on one issue.
When asked about how he felt about torture, he did say that it was inappropriate for a nation of civil rights, but what he said later indicates he might not be so keen on upholding this idea…
