Considering Obama’s help has caused ISIS to invade half of their country, why wouldn’t they go to Russia for assistance?
The news comes amid U.S. concerns about increasing Russian military presence in Syria.
The United States had been watching intelligence indicators that the Russians might be setting up some type of operation in Baghdad to coordinate their efforts with Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian elements.
Furthermore, Al Jazeera reports Iraq has said that its military officials are engaged in intelligence and security cooperation in Baghdad with Russia, Iran and Syria to counter the threat from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), a pact that could raise concerns in the US.
A statement from the Iraqi military’s joint operations command on Saturday said the cooperation had come “with increased Russian concern about the presence of thousands of terrorists from Russia undertaking criminal acts with Daesh (ISIL)”.

The move comes as at the same time Russia has stepped up its military involvement in Syria in recent weeks, while pressing for Damascus to be included in international efforts to fight ISIL, a demand Washington rejects.
The announcement also reflects Iran’s increasing influence just four years after the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.
Perhaps this is all part of the Obama/Kerry’s show; part of the amazing Iran super nuke bomb plan. Yes, that must be it…give them everything they want and the kind Islamists will work peacefully together against a common enemy for the greater good. Rest assured, Obama has everything under control.
Yup wwlll
Good mane Russia will destroy all of them
No Paul, the mistake was us not keeping the then current Iraqi army and retraining them. We also completely started over with the government administration. We should have kept quite a few of the old dogs in positions of power in that old government. A majority of them only went along with Saddam out of fear. When we went over there we completely dismantled that place. There were spotty utilities and services at best. I remember trash covering entire city blocks because there were no trash men to collect it. Entire streets became rivers of human waste sludge because no city utility workers were employed. There was no infrastructure for a long time after we got there. That is just a small example of the things leading up to the massive insurgency we faced. Idle hands and all…
