The 2016 elections were astonishing in so many ways that political junkies, pundits, journalists, and historians will still talk of the 2016 phenomenon long after we are all gone. The unorthodox campaign run by political outsider Donald Trump leading to his devastating defeat of Hillary Clinton will become the stuff of political legends. The parts played by groups such as WikiLeaks are one more first for this election. And that’s just to mention a few of the high points.
Somewhat less spectacular are the demonstrations and violent protests that have marred the period after the election results were announced. Now continuing into their second week, the whole spectacle is getting ridiculous. Adults and students need “safe places” to grieve over Hillary’s loss? College professors cancel exams to give students time to recover from the elections? Groups of protestors are still closing down interstate highways? Pitiful.
One Iowa lawmaker is fed up and doing something about it. More on page two.

This is a city or town problem! Citizens have the right to assemble and if damage is done they get arrested for vandalizing property! This isn’t a federal issue! If Trump and the Republicans try and change laws it goes too the Supreme Court and for some unlikely reason it passes there will be hell too pay in this country! This is just people expressing their anger! If the roles were reversed the Trump supporters said they would burn down the country and take up arms an cause a revolution! You cant punish all the students in this country for a few! So just turn the station watch Bambi or something and don’t take everything too seriously!
Bravo
Put every snowflake and thug into a civil Service collar. 🙂 The USA is going to need tens of millions of young, strong, bodies to help rebuild the USA. 🙂 I actually figure the Civil Servants will be happy because A, they will be “saving the world” one pothole at a time and B, they will be causing so much less of a carbon footprint by not having cars, going to bed early with the rest of their Civil Service team members and because they will be sleeping in group crew trailers/dorms, which use so much less electricity and water. 🙂 Finally,, they will feel so much better about not killing animals when they are fed on a diet of mostly grain and legumes (rice and beans,, a complete amino acid for life), wearing their Civil Srvice collar will be like the best life they could ask for. 🙂
