It’s always wise to be skeptical of what the government says, or at least pay attention to what is being said so they can determine if it is truthful or not on their own.
At no time has this ever been the case more than this election cycle and the period following it. With the combined forces of the political and media establishments uniting in their opposition to insurgent candidates in both Republican and Democratic parties, we have seen the elites for what they are and what they are willing to do to retain their power.
Against this backdrop, it is understandable that many would grumble at accusations that Donald Trump won the presidency because Russia interfered in the election. They expect us to believe them after all the lies they’ve uttered within the past year.

The American election system is decentralized by design, with state, county and local governments all managing voting. Even though many precincts use voting machines, none are connected to the Internet, nor are they connected to each other.
That’s not to say voting machines don’t have vulnerabilities — those have been well documented and studied for more than 10 years. But to influence the outcome of a presidential election or statewide race would require physical tampering on a grand scale across in counties across multiple states on Election Day: In other words, it essentially can’t be done.

When you have a country like Russia with a nuclear arsenal so great that they could turn the US into a glass parking lot, just by the total number of missiles, wherein the US does not have enough Patriot missiles to stop this type of barrage, so would you want a President that would p**s-off the Russians or one that wants to approach them in a civilized fashion?
I voted for our president and Putin had nothing to do with it.
