The Trump administration seems to be wasting no time getting its financials in order. Just a few weeks into Donald Trump’s term, Trump tweeted that the debt had been lowered by $60 billion. Reports are also circulating that Trump’s first budget will oversee the largest reduction of the federal workforce since WWII.
So we know how Trump plans to save money. But how will he make it?
He certainly doesn’t seem to be willing to raise taxes very much. While he has suggested that he might be okay with a small tax increase on the rich, most of the government’s extra income seems contingent on a growing economy, not higher tax rates.
But that’s not their only plan.
The Trump Administration also seems to be eyeing unpaid debts held by foreign governments — some going back half a century.

Excellent.
It is long past time all of these countries that have debts with us , must finally pay up!! And that china is what you need to do!! We’ll be glad to deduct them from our debt to you!! I’m talking about the ones the old regime had owed this country !!
If everybody paid what day of the United States we could cut taxes for everyone
The Us needs to collect from all these nations which we helped. I don’t see other nation coming to our aid when we need it. Where were other nations when our country experienced all the natural disasters here and in Puerto Rico recently. They totally ignore us.
Pay up….
These countries have been spoon fed and have done nothing but take advantage. It’s about time they step up and be held accountable for themselves and stop freeloading
PAY UP
So many countries owe us old money from wars
