The Internet has been buzzing with an article from The New Yorker that got picked up and reported by Fox News on an imminent, massive earthquake that threatens to take down the Pacific Northwest.
It seems that this mega-quake is about 75 years overdue – it has been striking the area for the last 10,000 years around every 240 years.
So it’s not a question of ‘if’, but ‘when’.
When it does strike it will take down everything west of Interstate 5, including Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Eugene, Salem, Olympia – home to around seven million people.
The coming quake will register somewhere between 8.7- 9.2 and will create a gigantic, 100ft high tsunami that will also cause considerable destruction.

I don’t want to live after nukes.
Hey no need for caliexit?
Then maybe we can stop hearing the Californians whine!
That shows what you know about Northern California. Many of us like to refer to our area as the State of Jefferson. As in Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of our country. – If you knew anything then you would know that it is mainly the mid and southern coastal parts of CA that are liberal. The rest is largely conservative.
I do know so don’t presume. If a lick of sense you’d move to a state where your vote counted. Just so you know, I used to live in northern California. People were good, mostly, politics suck. Move.
I hope California ceceeds before this happens, then we. Will not be stuck with the rebuilding costs
And by the way Steven Bevier>you’re a$#%&!@*
