The Internet has been buzzing with an article from The New Yorker that got picked up and reported by Fox News on an imminent, massive earthquake that threatens to take down the Pacific Northwest.
It seems that this mega-quake is about 75 years overdue – it has been striking the area for the last 10,000 years around every 240 years.
So it’s not a question of ‘if’, but ‘when’.
When it does strike it will take down everything west of Interstate 5, including Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Eugene, Salem, Olympia – home to around seven million people.
The coming quake will register somewhere between 8.7- 9.2 and will create a gigantic, 100ft high tsunami that will also cause considerable destruction.

May not have to secede after all. Hmmmm.
OMG!!!!!…The sky is falling….The sky is falling….I’m HOLDING MY BREATH!…… LMAO
Good, then we just have NYC to deal with.
I lived in NYC. Hated it. I moved. I lived in Pasadena, CA. Hated it. I moved. I never could afford it but I’m confident enough to know I can land anywhere with nothing, knowing nobody and make it.
That’s the difference between liberals and conservatives. We have confidence and don’t need someone to prepare a place for us. Adversity builds strength. Bail on CA. There’s no future there
Jack, is a little harder to do when you have a family. It is possible, I get it, but a lot more complicated.
Global warmanists believe this is caused by people. People have nothing to do with earthquakes. The comparison is apples to oranges. Not related.
Good, get out. lol
Jack Burnell, Good, get out, stay out. There’s no room for you here.
With any luck at all, it will cause California to fall away from the union.
