Donald and Evelyn Knapp, both ordained ministers, have refused to marry a same sex couple in their chapel, The Hitching Post.
Now they face a $1000 fine for each day they decline hold the wedding and up to 180 days in jail.
City officials from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, states that the city has a non-discrimination statute that includes sexual orientation and gender identity, and because same-sex marriage became legal in Idaho on Oct. 15, 2014, the couple would have to conduct these weddings in their chapel.

It’s their ministry, they should be allowed to practice or deny practices as they please. This is regardless of church and state separation. Mind you I personally believe denying the sacrament of true love through union (marriage) on the basis of their being the same sex is both wrong and hypocritical for a group which promotes love and compassion, it’s still none the less their right. By punishing these people for denying this, we’re losing a freedom that is worth more than the loving union of any two people. I feel bad for them.
What a travesty that homosexuals get away with this.Why don’t they go to businesses that share their views?
I think that should be the Ministers choise . To so many in our country think same sex marrage is not RIGHT . A Minister has the right to refuse a couple if they do not agree with the marrage that is to be performed And that has always been their RIGHT FOREVER .

I think they were framed. Sinners and the devil always try to destroy the righteous. the devil knows his time is limited and he will try all sorts of things. But guess who the winner in the end is: Jesus Christ, the one and only God!
