One of the most pernicious practices of big government is it’s meddling into not only how citizens live but where they live.
With homeowners already subjected to onerous regulations and unreasonable oversight, many Americans are turning to alternative means of habitation. Although the first thing that might pop into one’s mind when they hear this is an image of a mountain man living alone in the wilderness, the truth is that a more viable option is available: motorhomes.
With remarkably less expenses to account for and enough room to provide comfortable living quarters for several individuals, RVs are emerging as the domicile of choice for those tired of the high price tag and red tape that comes with traditional homes. But if the Department of Housing and Urban Development has anything to say about this, it won’t be for much longer. You see, HUD is planning to ban motorhome owners from using their vehicles as their primary residence.

This is such BS. If not for total control why would government do this?
Developers hate tiny houses and developers donate gobs of money to local political campaigns. Concidence?
Tell that to your local zoning board. See what happens.
Lol. Well, your article has one source. That source has no source. Callin’ b******t.
you do that by first by giving the power back to the states that the feds illegally took from them.
They really need to leave these people alone! I could not do it, but my hats off to those that do. Smaller home= less habitat destroyed to make room for it, less use of fuels to keep it heated/cooled, less materials to build, less electricity to power it, and on and on. Flat out far less carbon footprint and environmental impact! Can you say money money money? That’s what this is all about big business is not getting their cut!
Fk HUD .
These people need to be left alone. This is a matter of trying to control because it makes no sense at all.
There is nothing wrong with claiming deduction for interest on RV if it is your perms are resident. And also the law allows interest deduction as a second resident, many live part time in RV. At least perms are resident deduction should always remain. And actually as video states, HUD sounds like it wants to make taking up residence in RV illegal.
Of course they are good grief..
