It’s now legal for men to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities – and vice-versa – thanks to the passing of the Equal Rights Ordinance in Houston, TX.
Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, called it “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”
The ordinance’s stated goal is to eliminate discrimination in housing and employment for gays, transgenders – 14-characteristics in total – including race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

you just opened the doors for rape not equal rights you should have really thought this one over and looked into what happened in Portland Oregon this is wrong
This is a horrible headline for a landmark bill. In any case, it’s a shame Texas hasn’t institutionalized it as a state. In Mass., equal housing and employment is guaranteed by state laws.
A nother dumb ass gay.
Sickening. I hope they get the 17k petitions
You honestly think that is safe for the children… You sickos!!!!!
That means that if I go there that I would need to go into the HEAD just to make sure my wife would be sake from sicko’s, this does’nt make anyone safe
Really people?? I have cleaned a many public bathrooms in my day and the woman’s was always more dirty. You people just need something to bitch about! Have you been to Paris or other countries? They don’t segregate their restrooms. #findsomethingrealtobitchabout
IN Texas? damn WTF is happening to our country?
If you like the other bathrooms in other countries – go – stay there. We do not want it here, only a few sickos do. I would not go to their bathrooms without someone with me – that’s for sure.
Now they can’t arrest the creeps for just “Being in the ladies room”. Now, the police have to wait until AFTER someone is assaulted. As is often the case, good intent, bad idea or impractical to implement.
