It’s now legal for men to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities – and vice-versa – thanks to the passing of the Equal Rights Ordinance in Houston, TX.
Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, called it “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”
The ordinance’s stated goal is to eliminate discrimination in housing and employment for gays, transgenders – 14-characteristics in total – including race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

That is a call for a disaster and danger towards women?
That is not the definition of equal rights?
Yuk…I prefer my privacy thank you. this is awful in my opinion.
Utter nonsense.
give me a break…. there is nothing more pressing to do in Houston?? 🙁
Wrong,Wrong,recall or fire him.
His gay conterparts may not have any interest in the opposite sex, but what about all the other men that do have an interest some of which will have less than “honorable” intentions? Did he give any thought at all to the children that will be using those same facilities? That is an idiotic move Mr. Mayor and I hope it will cost you policially.
i took a p**s in a girls bathroom at carls jr
This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever seen. If anything they are opening the door for more sexual harassment and sexual assaults. A lot of parents send their kids in those places by themselves (even though they shouldn’t) and now they are just inviting predators on in. Maybe I am over thinking it but….this guy is an idiot.
This is you know what, B.S., If I ever went into a rest room for women and found a man in there I would be long gone. This is soooooo wrong. I have nothing against the gays as long as they keep to them selves and don’t get into my territory.
