It’s now legal for men to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities – and vice-versa – thanks to the passing of the Equal Rights Ordinance in Houston, TX.
Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, called it “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”
The ordinance’s stated goal is to eliminate discrimination in housing and employment for gays, transgenders – 14-characteristics in total – including race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

I did want to go toTX !! but well not even stop to get food or gas !!!!!!!
THEY NEVER THINK ABOUT THE DANGER TO CHILDREN FROM THESE PERVERTS !!!!! V
Am never going to go to Houston! So, allowing perverts to gawk at me while I use the bathroom (or gawk at my grandbabies while they do) is the most meaningful thing this perverted bozo ever did, huh? I can sure imagine that. Idiot.
If making it okay for men and women to share a bathroom is the “most personally meaninful thing (she) will ever do as mayor,” I’d say her leadership as mayor is sorely lacking. Such a thing as men and women sharing bathroom is, in fact, thoroughly disgusting. I was married for 34 years and my husband and I did NOT frequent the same bathroom at the same time….ever. Eliminating discrimination in housing and employment is one thing…..sharing rest room facilities with the opposite sex is an entirely different matter.
Makes me sad and scared. This is an intrusion of privacy. Now a man that claims he is “innately” a woman can go into the women’s restrooms along with other little girls. Who will prove he is what he claims he is. Anyone will be able to claim that now. It is our country’s degredation of morals that are at the roots of all our problems. This is not a step towards progress but rather towards deprecation and recklessnes.
… woo hoo … that makes it easier for me to go in and leave all the toilet seats up !!!
THERE BETTER NOT BE ANY MEN IN A RESTROOM I GO INTO
When the rapes and other things take place, then you can blame your so called mayor and hold him totally accountable.
If this is “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”, Houstonians are in big trouble.
What does this have to do with equality ? It has to do with privacy you freaking morons!!!!
