House Armed Services Chair: Obama’s Terrorism Stance is ‘Unsettling’

Rudy Giuliani recently said that Hillary might as well reconsidered a founding member of ISIS, and thanks to a official document detailing the Obama Administration’s plans to defeat the powerful terrorist organization, it’s easy to see why. They don’t seem to care much about defeating them at all.

Not everyone in the federal government is willing to let Obama invite ISIS into the backyards of the Western world, however. House Armed Services Chairman, Mac Thornberry is standing up to our failed executive’s policy, calling his plans “unsettling”

Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, chided the administration for sending the requested report “Strategy for the Middle East and to Counter Violent Extremism” five weeks past its Feb. 15 due date. The report was a requirement of Section 1222 of the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2016, signed last fall by the president.

“As we have unfortunately come to expect from this Administration, the seven page document fails to provide much new information and fails to address all the elements required by law, such as identifying which groups must be engaged to counter violent extremism,” Thornberry said in a statement. “It is unsettling to know that this report may reflect the actual depth of strategic thought within the Administration on how to face this grave threat.”

ISIS has always seemed like more of a casual nuisance to Obama than an actual threat, but as he tangos away with Cuban communists, ISIS is only getting closer to our shores, if they aren’t here already.
