At a Home Depot, in Spokane Valley in Washington State, a Veteran was at the register and politely asked for his Vet discount, showing his Veteran ID. The young man at the register told him that Home Depot does not “do that anymore”. The Veteran asked to speak with management, over comes an entitled type mentality manager, who is rude.
He tells the Veteran that “Corporate is tightening up on those type things.” Luckily, a good Patriot was in line behind the Vet, and when told to go to another line, he said “I’ll just stay here to see what happens”.

This was months ago and very blown out of proportion. Happened in the one I that I shop at all the time.
You should get facts before posting this stuff.
I was raised all my life in Spokane WA….. I left my home state as I saw the liberal agenda begin in the
I guess I’ll be the browneye, veterans volunteered to be the enforcers of the federal government’s imperialism. Why do they deserve special treatment? Before you spout of with “They defend our freedom!”, they do not. The last time freedom was defended in this nation was in the war of 1812.
I does not surprise me, as not too long ago I had the same happen to me. Refused a discount in a disrespectful way from the clerk. From that day forward I refuse to shop HOME DEPOT and shop exclusively at Lowes who with a cordial smile and thanks for your service greatly gives us a discount. KUDOS to Lowes and their staff. True Americans. I gladly go out of my way to shop Lowes over an ungrateful HOME DEPOT shame on them.
As long as they have a place for the sand people to pray.
They should not fly our flag until they learn how to respect our veterans
I’ve always gotten my discount. In fact, the day before yesterday, I forgot to ask for it checking out and the cashier reminded me after seeing my decorated ball cap.
We never had a problem getting our military discounts from Home Depot.
You are 100% wrong as i have recently shopped Lowes and got a discount!
