At a Home Depot, in Spokane Valley in Washington State, a Veteran was at the register and politely asked for his Vet discount, showing his Veteran ID. The young man at the register told him that Home Depot does not “do that anymore”. The Veteran asked to speak with management, over comes an entitled type mentality manager, who is rude.
He tells the Veteran that “Corporate is tightening up on those type things.” Luckily, a good Patriot was in line behind the Vet, and when told to go to another line, he said “I’ll just stay here to see what happens”.

I’ve never had that experience in FL and it should not be happening in Washington state
Liberal owners?
I am a vet and former employee of home depot. My daughter was on Memorial Day 2014 21/2 hours from my town. My absence was unexcused.
David, wee you aware, before now, that a discount was ever available for veterans at home Depot ?
Don’t know WHERE THIS store is,but IN the last 2weeks I’ve been to both Lowes and Home Depot and got my military discounts no problems
This was employees. I am at HD every day and they have a military discount. The Barcode they scan is taped right at the register for easy access for the cashier.
This was an old story. Is this s repeat of s new offense?
Washington state is full of a bunch of Kalifornians.
Never liked hd, they support gays.
They hired a bunch of flamers. They have more rights then veterans.
