Hillary Clinton is once again using racial politics in order to further her ailing political campaign, and she’s alienating and disrespecting both whites and the police in the process.
Clinton accused police officers across the country of purposefully targeting and killing black men during her speech at Columbia University on Wednesday.
The former Secretary of State, appearing at a policy event named for New York City’s first African American mayor David Dinkins, called for a major overhaul in the US criminal justice system and repeatedly lambasted
“There is something profoundly wrong when African-American men are still far more likely to be stopped and searched by police, charged with crimes, and sentenced to longer prison terms than are meted out to their white counterparts. There is something wrong when a third of all black men face the prospect of prison during their lifetimes,” Clinton said. “We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance and these recent tragedies should galvanize us to come together as a nation to find our balance again.”
How would Hillary, a geriatric white women and former First Lady, know what happening on the streets of our most crime-ridden neighborhoods? Maybe if she’d actually stepped foot into these crime-ridden communities without the help of the Secret Service, she would find the police’s work much more necessary… But that wouldn’t fit her message.
