Hillary Clinton: There Are Real Questions About the Legitimacy of the 2016 Presidential Election

Hillary Clinton is scared. Investigators are on the verge of busting the whole façade surrounding the infamous Clinton Foundation.

Which by the way, fun fact, stopped being a public charity back on March 21st, 2004.

The Clinton family is no longer being protected by the Obama administration (although as one can clearly see the weaker links in the Trump administration remain hell-bent on continuing the precedent set by the previous administration). And because she failed to secure the throne, they are in trouble, and Hillary has no choice but do everything in her power to call into question the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election.

HILLARY CLINTON: This was a very successful disinformation campaign.

ARI BERMAN, MOTHER JONES: So between the Republican voter suppression you talked about and Russian interference, do you think it was a legitimate election?

CLINTON: There are lots of questions about its legitimacy, and we don’t have a method for contesting that in our system. That is why I have long advocated for an independent commission to get to the bottom of what happened.

Look, this is the first time we have ever been attacked by a foreign adversary, and then they suffer no real consequences. And so, I’m worried that we’re not learning all the lessons –that is why I wrote the book– because I want people to at least understand what I saw as the factors, including shortcomings of myself and my campaign.

But the forces at work outside my campaign are not going away. Somebody else is going to be running for Congress, governor, and eventually president. We have to know how to protect ourselves.

BERMAN: So you have a lot of questions about the legitimacy of the election?

CLINTON: I do, sure. As we learn more about it, we know that the web of connections between people on Trump’s team and Russian representatives just gets more and more dense.

Certainly, the Trump administration has no interest in finding out the truth. They’re allergic to the truth in a lot of settings, so they are certainly going to do whatever they can to prevent it from coming out.

But Republicans need to understand that this can turn on them as well. I may have been the primary victim, but there were other Democrats who were caught up in some of the stolen emails, and the kinds of weaponized information attacks. We’re all at risk if we allow a foreign power to insinuate itself into our election, and begin to affect how voters think.

I hope that Republicans will understand that the responsibility is to our country first and party second.

Somebody really should’ve spent less time selling uranium to Russia, and more time brushing up on those history books in preparation for the 2016 presidential election. And I don’t know maybe spent a little more time in the swing states.

B) That is the best you have to offer? I feel let down. I expect a better lie from the Hildabeast.

You are claiming that for “the first time we have ever been attacked by a foreign adversary” and that makes “you have a lot of questions about the legitimacy of the election” AND YOU OFFER NO PROOF!!

C) You want Republicans to stop trying to expose your corruption. End-of-story. And luckily for you, most RINOs are willing to let that happen.

But, are the American people going to let their representatives get away with such blatant betrayal of their own conservative constituents?
