Hillary Clinton is giving a speech at a fundraiser for the Trayvon Martin Foundation, and she doesn’t come cheap. Regardless of the fact that many wouldn’t pay a dime to hear the presumptive Democrat nominee speak, they’re charging quite the price.
Attendees of the May 20-22 conference are asked to donate a minimum of $1,500 per person in order to attend the event.
Fulton formally endorsed Clinton’s presidential candidacy last January, saying that the former secretary of state is the only candidate running who is “tough enough” to champion gun control and issues concerning the Black Lives Matter movement.
“As first lady, she advocated for the Brady Bill and convened meetings on school violence,” Fulton wrote in a statement. “As a senator, she voted to extend the assault weapons ban and against an immunity law that protects irresponsible gun makers and dealers from liability.”
Of course, Mrs. Clinton left out the fact that her husband’s criminal justice reform continues to be the reason that thousands of young black men are locked up across the country. This isn’t the first time Hillary Clinton has been selective about her past, and it won’t be the last. It just proves she will say or do anything it takes to claw her way to the Oval Office.
