A forty-eight hour lock up is the sentence for two seniors at Bolivar Central High School in Bolivar, Tennessee, who were busted for wearing saggy pants on several occasions. The two high school students will spend the weekend in the Hardeman County Jail, after being reprimanded many times for “wearing saggy pants in violation of the school dress code which stated “low slung, baggy seat, baggy legged or bell bottom pants are not permitted.”
This is not a stand alone incident, but rather stems from an situation back in early November of 2015, when four students were charged with indecent exposure. The school seems to be making a strong statement to the student body, that they are serious about the dress code and they will enforce it.
The question is does the crime fit the punishment. Read more on the next page on how the community and student body are responding.
If Trump isn’t elected, you better get used to it from both guys and gals. These kids have no respect or class any more. No standards. This Country is going down the drain just like the rest of the world.
Good
Then the cops better make their next trip down to the beach and arrest everybody wearing those thong bikinis because they show a whole lot more skin than sagging pants and underwear
I hate saggy pants more than the next person but really jail for your pants sagging aren’t there much more important things we should be putting people in jail for a leg pedophilia assault murder drug running
About damn time!
This should wake up some parents, most of them could stop this stupid fad.
They look like sloppy lazy thugs that are too damn lazy to pull up their pants!
Make the parents pick them up and take time from their job !
I HATE when they wear pants like that also, but they shouldn’t be jailed…it is part of free speech and freedom of expression
Glad my parents raised me better than that.Show respect for yourself and others.Don’t show your IGNORANCE
