Scary numbers of Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes. In a recent report, half of Americans are now diabetic or pre-diabetic. There are twp types of diabetes, type one , and type two. The study is speaking of type two, which it’s onset is later in life (between 40-50 years old) and is associated with being over weight. Type one is “juvenile diabetes” which children acquire and is not associated with weight. Most diabetics are not educated properly, many believe when they are diagnosed, that’s it- they will just have it the rest of their lives.
can you cure diabetes yourself, and does the government have something to say? next page

Harder to beat back disease like diabetes (or anything) when you are oppressed.
The Liberals would say that Obamacare is good for Americans. Some of us Conservatives might argue that it’s worse for the sick…
Until the program is fully up and running and proves/shows the savings that people will have who are registered with the insurance exchanges under Obamacare, the program is somewhat oppressive and problematic.
The main reason is that some can’t afford private insurance AND they don’t qualify for Obamacare insurance. Therefore, by not buying insurance at all, they are fined (and still don’t have healthcare insurance).
For those that qualified for Obamacare and signed up with an insurance exchange, they are finding out that their medical insurance (the premium) is going up by 23% in this second year.
Thus, it’s very hard to say whether or not healthcare under this Oppressive regime is getting better or worse. Probably 1/2 the country would say “better” and the other 1/2 “worse”.
What’s the big deal about being a diabetic? I’m a type two and believe me, people are in fear of it almost as much as a plague.
