The Internet has joined the fight against ISIS, and boy is it hilarious!
Shadowy hacktivist group Anonymous, famous for the V For Vendetta-inspired Guy Fawkes masks it’s members wear, has set out to “rick roll” ISIS. That is, they have taken it upon themselves to flood pro-ISIS hashtags with a video of 1980’s pop star Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The group hopes that spamming the video will prohibit or at the very least least make it difficult for ISIS operatives and sympathizers to communicate with each other for the purpose of spreading propaganda over social media.
Although the video has indeed been around since the 80’s, it has been revived in the Internet age as a way to prank unsuspecting friends and, as of now, terrorists. Some “rick rollers” have gone as far as loading the video with viruses, so one can hope that Anonymous takes their Twitter offensive to the next level and sends virus-laced links ISIS’s way.

Bradford…workforce participation is at its lowest point since the depression and the number of Americans on food stamps is at a record high. Obamacare is a complete failure as premiums rise and state exchanges start closing down due to lack of federal subsidies. And btw, OPEC sets the proce of crude and thus no president has anything to do with gas prices. Only someone living off government giveaways think the economy is good because these giveaways just keep on coming under this incompetent socialist weal link of a president.
Will someone please request these hacktivists to hack Killary’s and Obama’s emails and release them?
I thought they were going after Donald Trump the other day for offending Muslims….now they’re after ISIS again?
Well then why compare anonymous to our government(terrorists) anonymous hasn’t killed anyone yet as far as we know, nor have they impovershed billions of people and stole natural resources while at the same time damaging the health of the entire planet. They may be a misinformation group, but that doesn’t make them as bad as the ones responsible for the real acts of terrorism
We used to play these geek games too back in the day. It was called you sank my battleship. Now turn off all the grids so they think they can start so it can end.
It depends on who anonymous focuses their considerable amount of :might on. After ISIS who…who decides who they go after? I get what your saying AJ. I just don’t like any group having that much power to go after who they want.
Oh workforce participation is lowest? Wait the almost 9% unemployment rate when bush was done might have something to say about that
And your right i live off the government…. Wait i have three hobs and work 70+ hours a week. Lol. And keep complaining about food stamps when it is less then 1% of our budget but our military is over 50% please complain when we GIVE not loan more money to Israel then we spend on our food stamp program. Its ok buddy not all of us actually look at our national budget
And please once again tell me how helping the poor is so much worse then destroying other countries. Killing innocent people. Wait we have our own people to help but lets vote against the bill to help veterans that would have been once again less then 1% of our budget. Either you are an idiot or you do not care for the people around you.
