Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is surely not long for his office after two controversial yearbook pictures surfaced: one photo showing him alongside men in a KKK outfit and in ‘blackface’ and the other photo showing him having the nickname ‘Coonman’.
The calls for his resignation come from a growing list that includes the Virginia Black Caucus, the House Democrat Caucus, the Senate Democrat Caucus, the NAACP and his predecessor Terry McAuliffe.

Big moment: The Virginia Legislative Black Caucus calls on Northam to resign after meeting with him.
"Given what was revealed today, it is clear that he can no longer effectively serve as Governor. It is time for him to resign, so that Virginia can begin the process of healing."

Here is Northam’s apology video, which he made to mitigate the disaster and minimize the risk of getting assaulted in the street. Although he is expected to hold a press conference today to say he is not resigning and that he never was in the racist pic, he must know in his mind that his time is done as the mounting pressure is becoming too great.
