Gorka Crushes Camerota: More People Watch Nick At Nite Cartoons Than CNN

The presidential adviser took CNN to task for ignoring a range of other stories, most related to the shady dealings of the Clintons, to the exclusion of its obsession with Trump and Russia.

Since leaving Fox News for CNN, Camerota has adopted the preferred CNN look for its female news readers – wearing glasses in the hope it makes her look smart.

The glasses didn’t come in handy as more than half way into the nine-minute interview Gorka savaged CNN about its ratings.

You heard Don Jr.’s statements that told you everything you need to know. He’s not even a member of the administration. This is the shocking thing, again the amount of time you spend in desperation on a topic that has plummeted you to 13th place in viewership ranking across America — more people watch Nick at Nite cartoons than CNN today.”

Camerota tried to deflect and defend her employer by saying:

Our ratings are doing just fine. If you want to go there, our ratings are doing just fine.”

You are 13. Nick at Nite is 11,” Gorka replied. “More people are interested in cartoons!”

Gorka repeatedly brought up the fact Camerota’s co-host Chris Cuomo had interviewed presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway last Monday for 35 minutes and spent the entire interview on Trump/Russia.

Nonetheless, Camerota persisted in trying to depict the Trump Jr. meeting as inappropriate. It was obvious she was ill-prepared for Gorka’s reply:

Was it a good idea for the DNC to send its operatives to the Ukrainian embassy? If there’s a meeting that was wholly appropriate but which led to nothing, let’s compare that to the DNC sending its people to the Ukrainian Embassy to coordinate oppo attacks against our candidate. If you want to see collusion, it’s in the DNC. I mean it is up to their necks.”

Not buying into the CNN premise that the Trump Jr. meeting revealed something sinister, Gorka put the meeting in context for the hapless CNN host:

Who did this woman work for at the time? Do you know? She did not work for the Russian government. There was no connection. She was a private lawyer who had an interest in the Russian adoption program and used a pretext to get a meet with the campaign which the campaign representatives almost immediately realized was not done in good faith, That she had another agenda. And therefore the meeting ended.”

As CNN and other Democrat lackey media try desperately to keep the Trump/Russia story afloat, they ignore stories that real journalists would dig into with zeal.

Stories such as: John Pedesta getting paid millions by Russians for influence peddling; Bill Clinton giving $500K speeches while his wife as a government official and then presidential candidate; Hillary Clinton facilitating the sale of 20% of U.S. uranium to a Russian firm while Secretary of State; Democrats working with The Ukraine and other foreign government to get dirt on Donald Trump; Hillary’s violations of multiple national security laws with her email server – the list is exhaustive.

So it’s left to independent journalists on the Internet to delve into the Washington Swamp and uncover the corruption the Deep State has put in place to co-opt the established media and make them serve as propaganda arms.

Fortunately, President Trump has advisers like Sebastian Gorka who will go on CNN and other networks to shame them into returning to some semblance of real journalism. As he told the crestfallen Camerota:

We’d like you to actually do your job. You aren’t in the news business anymore. You used to be. You are in the attacking President Trump business. And it’s sad. It’s really sad.”

Don’t hold your breath. The leftist Kool Aid drinkers who run CNN are not about to change a thing, even while their ratings plummet to the basement.
