The American public is tired of the lies coming from Congress and cynical about their ability to lead the nation and whether they truly represent the people. Occasionally, a congressman will come along and inspire the nation with an idea or a proposal that resonates and suggests that our representatives actually do care about our well being.
Iowa Republican Representative Rod Blum introduced legislation Friday that seems to be that type of proposal, though there are many who will feel it is just for show and will never come to an actual vote. Nevertheless, it is worth considering and following, because it could set a standard for future debate in coming years.
See Rep. Rod Blum’s proposed legislation on page 2:
Like that will ever happen.

NO HOPE FOR THAT FROM THESE FAT CATS.
You are right about that. Rauner has really tried to work with the Democrats, but they have dug in their heels, and continually tell the voters how the Republicans want to starve the little children, keep the blacks from voting, force the elderly out of their homes; when in truth it’s the democrats who continually try to increase taxes, increase spending, squander tax money on their Pet projects, give millions to Planned Parenthood, Unions, etc. Chicago Gangsters are still running Illinois and we are bankrupt, but they still threaten to shut down the government if Rauner doesn’t continue to fund all the illegals (we are a Sanctuary State), give Free cell phones, Free living to single mothers (even though a man is living in house, being supported by tax payers), the food stamps are resold for drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, etc. when the money is supposed to be for the children. The Democrats don’t really care about minorities, they use them to get votes, and stir up black/white hatred.

I hope the Congress can work this out!
