Jeff Gray, a long time activist in recording police, has recently released a video showing how he got through DUI checkpoints without saying a word.
His novel idea was to hang a plastic bag outside his rolled up window with the following:
1 – A message stating:
I remain silent
No searches
I want my lawyer
2 – DriverĀ“s license
3 – Registration
4 – Insurance Information
How did police respond upon his pulling up to the checkpoints with this bag hanging outside his car?

Jason do you live in a hypothetical world these checkpoints just annoy other people and don’t really stop much people will still continue to drive and drink
They would probably think you have something to hide.
True story
I think this was great, Respect went both ways,,Four sure no person should drive and drank or talk ,tex, cell phone….
Daniel…So are you are saying then is that it is better (and less annoying) to let drunk driving happen and do nothing except react to the accidents and fatalities as they occur? People will continue to drink and drive, but if these check points can save the life of one innocent person, or even the life of an impaired driver, then it is worth the little extra time for the check.
Because drinking and driving or driving under the influence isn’t considered a crime …..WOW!!!!
Your so full of sh!t!!…haha
That c**p won’t work in Tennessee.
I think that dui should be a felony. It is wreck less endangerment which is a felony. If it were a felony you better believe there would be a lot less drinking and driving.
You need to know your state laws first because if you don’t you might get arrested anyway
