Why build your own low-cost solar panels?
We all like to be self-sufficient. After all, who knows what tomorrow may bring?
When the power goes out it’s great to have alternative ways to get jobs done, but there are always some tasks that are simpler, easier, and even safer with electricity!

So keep your low-power and no-power plans at the ready for a blackout, but why not prep some panels, too, just in case?

You can still use the old fashioned solar powered clothes dryer in the back yard and a piece of flashing or some shiny aluminum would make an excellent hot dog cooker. Just a little creativity

How can anybody take this nonsense seriously? It would take at least 100 acres of solar panels to generate enough electricity to power one house.
Not true Porter. You can power all your lights In you house with two 30×15 panels.
