Georgia has become the first state in the country to pass a historic resolution to reign in our overreaching federal government, which is being promoted nationwide by the Convention of States Project (“COS”).
SR736 calls for an Article V Convention of States to propose amendments to the United States Constitution to limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government and establish term limits for federal officials.
State Representative Buzz Brockway (R-Lawrenceville) states “I’m proud Georgia has taken the lead on the very important work of restoring our Republic. An Article V Convention of States would provide an opportunity for the citizens of this great nation to restore the balance of power between the States and the Federal government. I urge Legislators in the other 49 states to join Georgia and call for a Convention of States for the purpose of proposing amendments to the U.S. constitution.”
Time for the rest of the states to follow suit and reign in this tyrannical government!

They need to go back to the Stars and Bars!
Good for Georgia…Northern staes are corrupt..They have been before the civil war..Their greed is what started it..NOT SLAVERY..They had slaves and were more violent toward them than the south…So there…
Georgia may lead the way but this could be big.
Great! Go for it- ASAP…
We NEED that in Colorado as well.. To limit the scope of power of the Federal Government in our State- in dealing with Federal Judges as well. Very cool… We definitely need to know more on what Georgia is proposing here in Colorado!! Oh Yess…
Should have taken place a long time ago. It’s about time that our states asserted their stand.
one down 49 to go.
Hopefully SC will follow suit.
Hooray
BOOYAH AND I HOPE EVERY OTHER STATE FOLLOWS!!!!!!!
