This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:

Or you could just boil some water in a pot over your fire….you know, like you do when your camping in the middle of nowhere. This is stupid.
Great! How do you integrate it to your house plumbing?
Yeah but unless you have the water heater on a riser or roof than there is no counter pressure to move it out of the water heater. So then why wouldn’t you just boil pots of water if you have no pressure? It would make more sense to have this unit hard plumbed to the main line before going into the houses water heater, but then again would not work if the city line loses pressure.

This would be great as an emergency system if the power should go out. Just keep a supply of fire wood or even duraflame logs on hand
So I can heat something if I use fire. Genius?
Cool concept. It’s like taking the scenic route. You could just hear water over the fire, but this looks a lot cooler lol
Splitting firewood is a bit harder than paying the electric bill
You do realize that heating copper like that releases chemicals that cause cancer right? The concept is cool. But i would hope you don’t use copper like that!
