This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:
That would be awesome..
I’m not an engineer, but wouldn’t just building a fire under the water heater be easier?
Looks like half of a moonshine still. Lol
Charles Reading I’ve seen a couple of them done right. Expansion tank, small pump, thermostatic valve, pressure relief valve outside. Zone valves to select which side of the house gets the water through the radiant heaters. Silver soldered plumbing through the back of a high efficiency wood stove. Worked marvelously.
I love stuff that is thought of like this. And it is shared so we can all try it if we want. Of corse people in the city wouldn’t be able to do this but it is a neet idea. Plus if you have a moonshine still hou might be able to use it if it is gerry rigged. lol
You only need enough solar power for the years it took to grow the tree to produce the wood to burn in the thing; and enough electricity for the battery-operated chainsaw that Bubba used to cut it!
you have no clue if you live off the grid, you work to pay for utilities, I work and save thousands each year not paying for utilities….add up your bills and see what you could save
Endless lol
City dwellers have no clue.
Interesting
