Conjure up enough doomsday scenarios and you should be able to ruin your ability to sleep for weeks. We live in a world of uncertainty. Perhaps in some aspects that’s essential. For example, if everyone knew the day and time of his or her death, behavior would change so radically that one is drawn to consider whether society could even function. In fact, it could be argued that it will always be impossible to know such information, as its knowledge would mean people would have the opportunity to change a certainty — an obvious absurdity.
But the fact that bad things can happen does motivate people to do rational things such as buy insurance, do some prepping, or take precautions. Yet most of us realize that there are some possible calamities for which we can do nothing from a physical nature to prepare.
At least most of us can do nothing. However, there are those whose worth is measured in the billions of dollars who can do some very extraordinary things to survive some very extraordinary calamities, assuming surviving such mega-disasters is even worth it given what life might be like on the other side of the catastrophe.
A look at what they are up to is on page two.

I just hope it’s quick …
Anybodyy into billionaire hunting? Lol
Agree
at least it looks like it will knock about 2 hours off of a trip to the beach.
LMAO look at the map anybody else notice the ocean encroaching on the 12-14,000 ft peaks of the Rockies? Now think about that for a few seconds…. ok times up ๐ …. If the Rockies are going to crumble and sink below sea level the resulting or causing Earthquakes would be so strong there is no place in the western hemisphere, if not the entire world you could hide. There would be 5-6,000 ft high tsunamis hitting the entire Pacific basin. If this map and maps like it are millions of years in the future then who cares what these stupid billionaires are preparing for they’ll be long dead before any of their plans could be used. OF
Thank God someone else has a brain, I thought the same thing, I live in the Rockies at 6000 feet, only way we’re getting covered in water is if everything easy of Colorado is a mile under water.
Look at the west coast states. Someone needs to study a real map of the U.S.
It will happen 2018
I’m good.
