A few months ago three men plotted to murder a black inmate as soon as he was freed from prison. Two of the men were employed at the local corrections center while one man was previously employed there. It was found out that they were all members of the “Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan”. Not the kind of people you’d want to employ in a law enforcement job.
According to the NY Daily News:
Thomas Jordan Driver, 25, and David Elliot Moran, 47, current DOC employees, and former prison employee 42-year-old Charles Thomas Newcomb, were busted by the FBI for conspiring to kill the black inmate as “retaliation” for a fight between the prisoner and Driver, Attorney General Pam Bondi said.
The trio of would-be killers identify as members of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan — the KKK
This isn’t the only case of Florida cops being caught on being Klan members. A few months ago Florida cops were fired for racist texts and KKK videos. A quick google search can show dozens of more cases of Florida law enforcement having involvement in the KKK.
