Niki Haley has come under fire for her State of the Union response, and her harshest critics are coming from diehard conservatives themselves. Below is a snippet of Breitbart’s list of Haley’s five biggest failures:
2. Attacking Republicans. Haley’s main goal, bizarrely, was to criticize her own party. “…[W]hile Democrats in Washington bear much responsibility for the problems facing America today, they do not bear it alone. There is more than enough blame to go around. We as Republicans need to own that truth.” She spoke these words over two minutes into her speech–before saying anything about what Republicans actually offered in contrast to Obama.
3. Attacking Trump. Haley hit Trump’s tough line on immigrants, Muslim immigrants in particular. “During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation.” She said we should welcome “properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion.” She did not explain how to vet them–an glaring oversight after San Bernardino that is the reason Trump’s policy has popular appeal.
Of course, Donald Trump takes no jabs without punching back, and this is no exception. Asked about the speech, he responded:
“She’s weak on illegal immigration, and she certainly has no trouble asking me for campaign contributions, ‘cause over the years she’s asked me for a hell of a lot of money in campaign contributions. So, you know, it’s sort of interesting to hear,” he continued. “Perhaps, if I weren’t running she’d be in my office asking for money. But now that I’m running, she wants to take a weak side on immigration. I feel very strongly about illegal immigration. She doesn’t, and I think the people in her great state, I love her state, I’m there a lot, and by the way I have a massive lead in South Carolina. We have a massive lead. They’re incredible people, and they feel like I do. Believe me. Because they don’t like what’s happening in our country.”
With that, you can add Nikki Haley to the long list of people on Donald Trump’s growling list of enemies within the party establishment.

I honestly feel Jeb doesn’t stand a chance of getting the nomination. His poll numbers just aren’t rising. I think America is “Bushed out.” Jeb has spent millions in political commercials to no avail. I have my favorite candidate, but at this point I will vote for whomever the Repubs put up as America cannot stand 4 more years of Socialism, PC garbage, open borders, rising national debt, etc. etc. We have got to turn our country around or we are going to turn into Europe.
