Newly released documents by the The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration details a plan by the federal government to mandate a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system so in all new cars that will transmit your speed, position and trajectory.
The Washington Post states that this system could prevent half a million accidents a year, however many worry that the government will use the system to spy on citizens and track their movements. The same federal government that already spies on us and the rest of the world through the NSA says ‘don’t worry, we won’t do that’.

Pretty soon the only way to keep the government from watching you will be to go off the grid. Off course that will be illegal.
Its a very good idea. It is the future after all.
YEA RIGHT…I don’t want this c**p on cars you are spying on us….
yeah right
You have that right
If this goes into effect, I will GUARANTEE that one group will spend countless hours hacking it so they can manipulate it while another group figure out how to disable it. Should be fun.
There is no reason for this in the first place. Its going to far.
This is why I will never buy a new vehicle again.
It doesn’t matter , they can track u anyway, via your phone or if you have an electronic tollway pass (I-Pass here in Illinois) . Most modern cars are equipped with “On Star” or something like that , too.
Modern cars are junk.
I will walk don’t need the aggravation of some STUPID CAR telling me how to drive to fool POS ..
