Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

Misleading. It’s welfare payments to wallyworld employees. They’ve announced higher wages, but most are part time.
They start at about 10.00 depending on your experience. Anybody who works retail and is still at minimum after a year has no one to blame but themselves.

They hire you, you better be prepared to work the hours they give you. You’re on call… Well, the one I applied at anyway. Most hire only part time workers. No benefits…Then they tell you to stay away from the Union Reps. or you get terminated…
Most retail is that way. Managers and a few workers are full time. The rest are part time and they call you if they get busy and have more hours avaluable. That is the same resteraunts operate. No reason to have people there is customers are not there. .
