Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

Yeah Walmart sucks
My wife and I both work at Walmart she has been there 10yrs I have been here 5yrs and we don’t have to get welfare. Where does this info come from
Amazing how they make a story that was written in 2015 look like new news
This is a b******t story, they pay more than minimum wage. They make so much money by dealing in volume with a huge infrastructure of supply. They make less per item than any mom and pop store but make up for lower income per unit by selling mass amounts of units per day.
Yes , you’re correct, we let morons, such as yourself, continue to perpetuate stupid lies to fit the socialist agenda of the left.
F**k you both as you have no clue of what the left or socialism even are. Of which I am neither. Get a life.
You should stop your boycott against common sense and also the one against economics 101. That would be a good start to understanding that Walmart deals in massive volume all over the world ! That’s why they put that number in the article for how much they sell. Walmart makes less than any other retailer per unit but sells more units per day. They pay more than minimum wage and have benefits, like most other companies , for full time employees. The company pays their taxes AND donates tons of money to the communities they are in. Get off you liberal high horse, quit being duped into believing everything the left winged media tell you to believe and do some of your own research before making yourself out to be perceived as an idiot
Moron ! Have you checked into what the GOVERNMENT pays the military? Yes, government is the problem not the answer!!!!
Economics for dummies would do Wilma some good
It’s all about competition. Government does not need to subsidize any corporation. Let competition, supply, and demand determine profitable companies. Remove restrictive regulations and unleash the economy. There are lots of businesses that don’t get subsidies. Let the chips fall where they may. Businesses aren’t in business to employ people, they are in business to make money.
