This has been going on since the Cold War nothing new and why is it called N.S.A. it is there to protect the country from any threat so spying and monitoring is needed and all those numbers they scanned do you think they cared about what you ate or who you are dating or who you do not like? No they scan looking for key statements or words that those who want to bring harm to our country they can expose.
Foreign governments do it to us everyday and nothing we can do about it so did it hurt anyone ? I do not think so, it is high officials who worry about there stuff being expose that is why Hillary Clinton hid her corrupt way so the truth does not come out. It is important for the government to monitor itself and let it be seen by the voters that is why we have the freedom of information act that shows transparent of government
