Barack Obama and his party may still command more than 90 percent of the black community’s vote, but it appears as if cracks are finally beginning to form. Even those who were once in support of the president — like Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan — are turning on the president. Here is what he said at a recent event in Washington, D.C.
But I just want to tell you, Mr. President, you’re from Chicago, and so am I. I go out in the streets with the people. I visited the worst neighborhoods. I talked to the gangs. And while I was out there talking to them, they said ‘You know, Farrakhan, the president ain’t never come. Could you get him to come and look after us?’ There’s your legacy, Mr. President. It’s in the streets with your suffering people, Mr. President. And If you can’t go and see about them, then don’t worry about your legacy ’cause the white people that you served so well, they’ll preserve your legacy. The hell they will. But you didn’t earn your legacy with us. We put you there. You fought for the rights of gay people. You fought for the rights of this people and that people. You fight for Israel. Your people are suffering and dying in the streets! That’s where your legacy is. Now you failed to do what should have been done.
But remember, Obama still thinks he could win a third term if he were allowed to run again. Meanwhile, a man who once compared Obama to God doesn’t even support him anymore.

he is a fraud
Kat Delgado I’m sure your right about this
FARAKHAN IS A SCUMBAG. AND LOOK AFTER WHO. PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO BE LOOKED AFTER. THE PLANTATION IS CLOSED. THEY WANT WHAT TRUMP IS TALKING ABOUT. JOBS, INTEGRITY, EXCELLENT EDUCATION, NOT COMMON CORE. THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT. OBAMA IS A LIE ALWAYS HAS BEEN. BLACK AMERICANS ARE NOT “HIS PEOPLE” THEY ARE OUR PEOPLE.
Donald Trump For President
I don’t understand how the critique of POTUS is justified? I adore the Minister, and am appreciative of his commitment toward promoting Black manhood with unrelenting defense of liberation for our people! But I respectfully disagree with his position in regards to President Obamas legacy. And in the same manner that he has examined the truth , emphasizing actual facts. We should examine this issue accordingly. What did the Black community request from Obama when he was running for office? What promises were made that were not realized? What specific initiatives did the Black community outline as a expectation of his administration? And how could those issues be addressed within the framework of a unsupportive congress and implemented effectively over a 8 Yr period. Why aren’t the Black churches, Urban league, NAACP and the NOI held accountable for the stagnant progression of the issues we face in the Black community in the same way? It’s misguided to feel the gains made for the GLBT community as a slight against us. But I admire the POTUS even more for his work on those issues. Because he is a leader for everyone. And they were organized, unified and clear as to what the wanted from his administration.
